Mobile Marketing Association's member growth continues

LONDON: The Mobile Marketing Association (MMA), which represents more than 450 companies across the mobile ecosystem, last week announced the latest new members to its growing global membership roster. The new member companies represent the global nature of the MMA joining from North America, South America, Asia Pacific and Europe.

The MMA also noted its recent win of the 2007 Communication Gold Circle Award for the MMA International Journal of Mobile Marketing (MMA-IJMM), highlighting the importance of continued global education for the development of mobile marketing.

“The MMA's continued membership growth further enhances the association's ability to collaborate with players across the ecosystem and the world to drive the adoption of mobile marketing education and expand industry guidelines and best practices to ensure a positive consumer experience,” said Laura Marriott, president of the MMA. “We also congratulate the MMA Academic Outreach Committee for the recognition the MMA-IJMM has received.”

Presented by the ASAE and The Centre for Association Leadership, the 2007 Communication Gold Circle Award recognises innovative ideas and achievement in association communications campaigns. The MMA won the award for best Peer-Reviewed Journal for its MMA-IJMM.
