Touchline rebrands custom publishing arm

Touchline Media's Special Projects division will now be known as Touchline Custom Publishing (TCP), with a new GM at the helm, it was announced earlier this week.

At the helm of the rebranded division is Seraj Toefy, former associate publisher of Touchline's Best Life and Men's Health Living brands. Toefy's knowledge and experience within the Touchline stable, having started out as marketing manager of Sports Illustrated and later promoted to associate publisher, makes him the ideal candidate to head up this division, the publisher says.

Shape editor Toni Younghusband has been appointed as editorial director and will work closely with the division's editorial staff in ensuring editorial excellence for all brands associated with the Touchline Custom Publishing division. Younghusband will, however, remain the editor of Shape magazine and will fulfil both roles.

Responsible for entire process

Offering custom publishing solutions to a variety of corporate partners, TCP is responsible for the entire production process, from planning and conceptualising to creating a publication that reinforces the client's brand and ensures synergy between the client and its customers.

According to Toefy, recent industry developments called for this transformation, which he believes will better suit the division's image and vision in setting the benchmark for publishing excellence.

“Custom publishing is one of the growth areas in global publishing at present, and Touchline's commitment to this is evident in the recent changes made,” said Toefy
