The merge brings Melissa Harris in as a director, joining Lynne Oeschger, African Dune's MD. The two have worked together on and off for more than 13 years on accounts such as Microsoft, Motorola, Xerox Channels Group and AMD.
Harris has a simple approach to marketing and PR: deliver great results through good writing and even better relationships. She has worked with many of SA's leading technology companies over the past 15 years including Africa Analysis, ecom institute, AMD, Microsoft, Motorola, Autopage Cellular, Orion Telecom and many more.
She spent time in the UK where she was promoted from associate director to a full board director within three months of joining top 20 tech PR agency, Spreckly Partners. Harris' knowledge of the technology industry owes much to her time at South African research firm BMI-TechKnowledge Group, where she was managing editor of key titles such as BMI-T Communication Technologies Handbook, New Economy Handbook and ICT in Government Handbook.
