New Good Hope FM line-up from May

Good Hope FM has announced a new line-up from Monday, 2 May 2016. In response to its listeners' earlier travelling routines, the 'Breakfast Show' will kick off an hour earlier at 5am and will be presented by Good Hope FM personality, Nigel Pierce, until 8am.

Pierce is known for his unique brand of wit and humour and has previously been the host of the breakfast show on the station; his on-air banter suits the breakfast slot and is sure to get listeners tuning in for more each morning.

“I know that I have to get up earlier and start my commute to work earlier each morning because of the increased traffic on the roads, as do so many Good Hope FM listeners. Now we can tune in from five in the morning and expect an energetic and informative, all-new breakfast show including news and traffic reports”, says Brendan Ficks, Good Hope FM station manager.

Another addition to the weekday line-up is a new show ‘The Hype’ from 8-11am, presented by Dan Corder and Sherlin Barends. They both honed their radio talent on campus radio and the station snapped them up soon after identifying them as a good fit. Corder has been the stand-in breakfast show presenter for the past few months, while decisions were being made regarding the new line-up announcement. Good Hope FM continues to connect Cape Town with an all-star line-up of presenters including Seano (Fast Forward), Carl Wastie (Afternoon Live), Stan Mars (The Mars Project), Ayanda Dlamini (Ayanda Dlamini Show) and Ready D (The Ready D Show).
