Primarily known for her role in The Queen, Roberts was notable in the media industry - having worked as a journalist, editor and presenter in South Africa. She also recently appeared in the Netflix film, Angelina.
Her cause of death has not yet been confirmed.
She was a journalist at Fairlady, Drum, You and Sunday World. She was best known for presenting What Not To Wear, The Real Goboza and TrendingSA.
Friends and colleagues confirmed her passing on Wednesday night just before a radio interview.

Last year, Roberts made headlines after the African Transformation Movement announced that she had joined them as a councillor and would be running for candidacy in ward 65 in Tshwane.
Later, she had stepped down due to “confidential circumstances”.
