Management changes at Grey

According to CEO of Grey Worldwide South Africa, Ann Nurock, the significant changes at management level have been planned to place stronger focus on key areas which the agency believes is crucial for sustained agency growth. Apart from Dallas Glover being appointed MD of Grey Worldwide South Africa and Andrew Shuttleworth MD of Grey Africa, there are two new board appointments, Keshni Deacon and Karabo Denalane.

Nurock adds that the agency's performance over the last 12 months, coupled with a significant number of new business gains, further substantiated the need to bolster the management structure and capacity.

New MD of Grey South Africa Dallas Glover will not only continue to oversee and drive key components of the strategic planning arm of the agency, but will now also be in charge of the agency's operational side. This will allow both Glover and Ann Nurock, CEO of Grey South Africa and the Africa region, to spend more time on the client management side to generate organic growth.

Nurock's focus will be to drive the agency vision and goals and to manage new business growth and development.

Andrew Shuttleworth has been promoted to managing director of Grey Africa. Together with his client responsibilities he will be well-placed to assist in driving the growth of the Africa region and assist the Grey regional offices in generating strategy and plans.

Coinciding with these changes are the promotions of Keshni Deacon and Karabo Denalane to the board of Grey Worldwide South Africa. In addition to his board appointment, Denalane has been appointed as general manager of Grey Africa and Chrispine Kagulurah has been appointed regional account director, focusing on Heineken Central Africa. These appointments support further growth and development of Africa, a central focus point of client and business development.
