e.tv wins big at SAFTAse.tv won 13 coveted SAFTA awards this past weekend at the 10th South African Film And Television Awards. The event was held at Gallagher Estate in Johannesburg where the biggest names in the film and television industry were out in full force. Umlilo, Ashes To Ashes, Rhythm City, Matatiele and Ultimate Braai Master each received the Golden Horn in the respective categories they were nominated in. The competition was tough, but e.tv's productions rose to the occasion and stood proud amongst their industry peers. Mduduzi Mabaso, who plays Suffocate on Rhythm City, and Fulu Mugovhani, who plays Anzani on Scandal!, both walked away with the award for best actor and actress in a lead role in a feature film respectively. Mandla Gaduka, who plays Damian on Ashes To Ashes, won Best Actor in a Lead Role - TV Comedy and Tina Jaxa, who featured on Gold Diggers and now Ashes To Ashes, won Best Actress in a Supporting Role - Feature Film.
