Outdoor featuring the irrepressible local comedian Soli Philander is catching motorists' attention in various locations in Cape Town, the star's home town.
New Robertsons Herbs & Spices Cape Town outdoor 'hair-raising'

Developed by FCB Durban to complement the television commercial featuring Soli for the new range of seasoning blends from Robertsons Herbs & Spices, the billboard is 3.5m tall and 6.1m wide. It shows Soli with his trademark dreadlocks blown up away from his face by the power and intensity of the aroma of Robertsons Herbs & Spices Pesto & Parmesan Seasoning Blend, Soli's favourite.

In the TV commercial, this seasoning blend shares the limelight with the funny man as he prepares his favourite vegetable pasta.

Soli's face is also being used in-store as shelf talkers and wobblers to draw shoppers' attention to 'Soli's choice'.

The campaign was devised by the creative team of Juan Scott, Steven Smith and Felix Schmitz of FCB Durban.

1. The new seasoning blend range includes: Braai Mix Seasoning, Salt and Pepper Seasoning, Country Garlic and Herb, Seasoning Salt, Savoury Red Meat Seasoning, Zesty Lemon Pepper Seasoning, Mediterranean Vegetable Seasoning, Pesto and Parmesan Seasoning, Spicy Portuguese Seasoning.
