FCB South Africa creates new group role, appoints Capetonian to position

According to Group CEO, Neil van der Weele, the position is a new one created to pull together the group's current media offerings and capabilities, and to increase the benefits these provide to clients.

Media Director of FCB Cape Town for the past six years, Schreuder has been responsible for the development of several innovative proprietary tools for the agency such as ICP (Integrated Channel Planning) and LifeSlice (Consumer Insight Tool).

She has extensive experience on many blue-chip clients including Liberty Life, Revlon, P&G, JD Group, Delta Motor Corporation and Gillette; has worked at Nota Bene, McCann, Leo Burnett and Bates; and has participation in the activities of media industry bodies, including industry educational institutes.

"Tanya will remain based in Cape Town and, in addition to her new group functions, will continue to be fully involved in FCB Cape Town's media offering. One of her key functions will be to continually evaluate our overall media offering to ensure that it is relevant, focused, contemporary, efficient and effective, and where it is not, to put plans in place to rectify this," he said.

Richard Procter has been appointed as Media Director, FCB Cape Town.
