Enterprises UP evaluates the Change-Makers Programme roll-out in Nigeria and Mozambique

Enterprises University of Pretoria (Enterprises UP) successfully evaluated the Change-Makers Programme (CMP) Train the Trainer (TTT) workshops conducted in Nigeria and Mozambique in the second half of 2018. The pre- and post-evaluations were conducted to assess the delivery and outcomes of the respective workshops and to identify possible areas of improvement for better impact through a classical Theory of Change framework.

The CMP TTT is a youth leadership programme for student leaders and teachers that aims to equip delegates with the knowledge and skills required to deliver the CMP to the youth in their respective countries and empower them to use history to promote inclusive societies, fight extremism and encourage pluralism.

Following the completion of the CMP TTT workshop, the delegates indicated great satisfaction on the delivery of programme and attested to acquiring the knowledge and skills required to deliver the programme in their countries.

“Okanfa: the greatness of the heart! I am because you are. This is one of the many lessons I learned from the Change-Makers Programme. It lasted for four days and those days helped to build my mind and the way I see the world,” said Alexa-Xanadu Idusuyi from AUN Schools.

“I am a change-maker. I will make a change, a difference and make my country great and proud. I am certainly a change-maker!” stated Yargawa Tadtifarta from AUN Schools.

The CMP is an effective tool for educating youths toward the sustainable development goals, as it creates a new way of reflecting and thinking critically about the world, past and present, and encourages individuals to become change-makers in their immediate environments.
