"Much like the creation of a distinct taste like Chivas Regal 12, the design of a bespoke suit is characterised by craftsmanship, tradition, style, substance and sophistication. When you see a gentleman in a well-designed bespoke suit you have an immediate understanding that he appreciates these values. Similarly, a gentleman who enjoys Chivas 12 shares these values," explains Mac Mabidilala, Brand Manager: Chivas Regal for Pernod Ricard.
The Chivas Made for Gentlemen is the second in a series of annual collaborations between Chivas Regal 12 and modern craftsmen who represent excellence in style, luxury and heritage. Chivas revealed the Chivas 12 Made for Gentlemen Limited Edition inspired by Patrick Grant earlier this year. Grant is a modern icon in menswear design, credited with reinventing bespoke tailor Norton & Sons of Savile Row, London. The striking collectible illustrates the attention to detail and sophisticated style, which have become synonymous with Savile Row and two centuries of shaping trends in tailoring.
"These collaborations celebrate impeccable tailoring and the details that take men's style to a higher level, just as Chivas Regal 12 does. Now, Chivas Regal is giving you the chance to express your interpretation of style and sophistication," says Mabidilala.
To promote the South African relevance, Chivas 12 has maintained their partnership with Fabiani.
"Both Chivas Regal 12 and Fabiani provide a way for the modern gentleman to stand apart from the crowd, recognise the value of craft and heritage and express their success through luxurious items made exclusively for them. Both brands are truly Made For Gentlemen," says Mabidilala.
By designing your own suit through the microsite, you also have the opportunity to win your suit, courtesy of Fabiani.
"When entering the competition, you are prompted to customise your own unique, African-inspired suit using the options displayed on the page. You are able to design each stylish element of the suit, including colour, inner lining, inner lining seams, collar, pocket hanky and stitching. Once your design is complete, you will be prompted to share it with friends and family, putting you in the draw to be the winning design," concludes Madibilala.
