Steve Reid: Manager of the newly established Centre for Entrepreneurship

Steve Reid joins the newly established Centre for Entrepreneurship (CfE) at False Bay TVET College, Westlake Campus. He grew up in Cape Town and has lived in Mpumalanga, KwaZulu Natal and the Eastern Cape.

Qualified in three disciplines, Reid's experience is set to help shape and steer the way forward for emerging entrepreneurs and the inculcation of entrepreneurial thinking at the College.

He has been involved in business coaching for the past 10 years, and has dedicated the last 4 of these to the establishment of a successful business incubator in Port Elizabeth. He has experienced the joy of seeing 36 companies and business owners graduate from the program to develop and grow their own sustainable businesses.

"I am very grateful for the initiative shown by the False Bay College leadership in creating this golden opportunity of giving students a further viable and exciting option for their future," says Reid.

"I am excited about the challenge of adding another dimension to our motto of My College, my dream and long to see young men and women not just seeking - but creating jobs. To see them going beyond looking for work in a great company, torather, creating a great company of their own!"
