H&M uses Guerrilla tactics for local launch

Unless the silly season has hit you early and hit you hard, you're probably aware that global fashion megastore H&M has entered the South African market. The Swedish brand announced itself with an outdoor blitz unlike anything in recent memory owning Jozi's top outdoor sites.

It should come then as no surprise that part of the current holding includes Guerrilla-IMC's 'Surround Sandton' package - 3 Mega format sites that target the Sandton CBD from it's three main arteries. Sandton Close targets drivers coming into Sandton from Randburg and Bryanston along Sandton Drive.

Targeting Rosebank, the Gautrain and drivers from The Parks to Sandton is Guerrilla-IMC's 100m peripheral wrap at 144 Oxford Street. Meeting M1 drivers on route to the Sandton CBD is Guerrilla-IMC's Grayson Mega board.

"When I get a brief with a Sandton focus, whether brand or retail, I propose our Surround Sandton package", comments Guerrilla IMC Sales Director Matt Palmer. Palmer concludes, "This purpose built package ensures awareness around the richest square mile on the continent."
