During the tour On the Dot visited many different household types in Khayelitsha, which has a total number of 127,273 households of which 66% are in the LSM 3 and 4, with an average household income of R1,600 - R3,000. There are different permanent household types built from bricks and then you also get the shacks, made from sheet iron and timber or informal houses 'imikhukhu'. By visiting the different type of households On the Dot clients could get a holistic view on township consumers' living standards and cultures.
