Tiffany Morris is the recipient of the bursary for 2011 and Natalie Elsener has been awarded the contribution of R29 000. Both are students with the AAA School of Advertising.
Michelle Randall, the ABF's Bursary Portfolio Manager says, "I wish both girls all the best in their studies and as an organisation, we look forward to welcoming them into the exciting industry of advertising. Both contributions would not have been possible without last year's ABF hosted comedy evening which was sponsored by United Stations."
The ABF would also like to thank the Newspaper Advertising Bureau (NAB) for sponsoring food for the evening and Marilyn du Toit from the AAA School of Advertising. "Marilyn's passion for the advertising industry, her dedication to the AAA School, her love for her students on a personal capacity and the time, effort and personal involvement she contributed to the ABF Bursary Portfolio, is inspiring," says Michelle. "We look forward to working with her again this year."About the ABF
The 41-year-old charitable fund provides vital crisis support to individuals in the advertising, marketing and media industries. In providing a support structure, the ABF helps those who cannot support themselves due to retrenchments, redundancies, injuries or illness.
