"Known for its scrumptious fare, Fillet was an obvious choice to host our pub quiz," says Sharlene Vallance, fundraiser for the Advertising Benevolent Fund. "We are being well supported by the following companies who have booked tables at our event: Charlie Bravo, Primedia Outdoor, Underline Advertising, NAB, Efficiency Media, Golf Unlimited, Sunday Times, Sync Advertising, Times Media and Incredible Connection.
It's encouraging to see how the industry supports the ABF," she says. "This time the industry gets to pit their mental strength against each other with an uncertain outcome. Our defending champions, Primedia Outdoor, will be at the event and have apparently been studying hard these past few weeks."
Quiz master Gavin Taylor is busy setting up his questions and has advised the ABF that he has asked for extra security on his computer in the event of any high-level hacking in order to get at the questions.
We would like to thank Kevin van Deventer with securing us a prize sponsorship from Tsogo Sun of four Billy G Dinner vouchers for two valued at R400 each which also includes a bottle of house wine. Billy G is located at SilverStar Casino.
"Sponsors are vital to this organisation and ensure the continued success of our events," says Vallance. "We anticipate a great evening and we urge the advertising and media industry to participate. Please contact me on az.oc.ten@enelrahs
for more information."
