After the Democratic Alliance (DA) unveiled its 'The ANC Is Killing Us' billboard in Johannesburg, CapeTalk listeners called into the Eusebius McKaiser Show to express their views on it. The billboard was erected in memory of victims of the Marikana massacre and the Life Esidimeni tragedy.
One caller said that while she doesn't agree with the DA's politics and never intends on voting for the party, she doesn't find it problematic. However, another caller, who lost a loved one in the Life Esidimeni tragedy, felt that it was not only diminishing but also disrespectful.
