FB unveils its African dream at new JHB office

Facebook recently lifted the curtain to its brand new African office in Johannesburg. As part of its Artists in Residency programme, Facebook enlisted the help of three local artists (Cameron Platter, Hlengiwe Dube, and Lyndi Sales) in creating the office's artwork.

The interior design of the office is meant to reflect African culture and features pieces like a wooden Baobab tree engraved with greetings in all eleven official languages of South Africa, a safari-themed break-out area, and meeting rooms named after iconic African words.
